Chocolate decor idea

Chocolate??

Why not!

Who doesn't love chocolate! I know I do!  I have created something I wanted to share with everyone.  I started making this several years ago for  two reasons 1.) I love chocolate 2.) It was the holiday and wanted to bring in something different to share with my co-workers (Christmas at the time).

If you are allergic to glue or adhesive, please be cautious when using hot glue gun or removing the candy to eat.  So far, I have not experienced the hot glue melting the candy wrappers.

I made these for co-workers during many holidays and everyone seems to enjoy the treat and the look of it. My husband even took them to his work and shared with his colleagues. It is very easy and it takes me less than 30 minutes to make, the hardest part was trying to figure which candy I wanted and what pattern I wanted on the wreath.

Supplies:
Ribbons (1-2" width is recommended)
Any size Styrofoam beveled wreaths
Bags of candy (I love the bag with various chocolate)
Hot glue gun and sticks
Embellishments  (Examples; ornaments, ribbons, etc.)

NOTE: For a small wreath you will need up to 50-75 candy to cover the wreath (depending on the size of the candy and how many other decorations you want to add on there).  The large 16" wreath you will need about 80-100 candy, again depending on the size of the candy and how many other decorations you want to add in there.

When making this, you can get as creative as you want, it can be as small or as large as you want it to be. You get to choose the candy you want on this wonderful treat, here are a few examples;

I called this one "Chocolate Lover Platter."
This is a 7.5"x 1.25" Styrofoam disk covered in chocolate.

This is as small as my hand. It is 12" Floracraft Beveled Styrofoam wreath.

 This is 16" Floracraft Beveled Styrofoam wreath.

I have made a tutorial video and posted on Youtube a few years ago.
